The wait is almost over

We know many of you have been asking for a new SBK Official Mobile Game for a long time—some have contacted us via email, some demanded an update in their app store reviews and others regularly ping us on social networks—but the wait is (almost) over: we are incredibly excited to announce that a badder, better and faster SBK Official Mobile Game is coming early next year… but we are going to need your help to deliver the best mobile motorbike racing game ever, starting from now!

So here we are, bringing you up to speed on our new ambitious project: from now on, we will post frequent updates to this blog keeping you informed on our team’s progress and will sometimes ask for your direct support in prioritizing features, finalizing marketing assets and testing new versions of the game on iOS and Android.

After all, you are the reason why we decided to rebuild SBK Official Mobile Game from the ground up: you have been suggesting technical improvements and new features since the release of the original game, back in 2014, and we have been listening. Now the time has come for us to develop an all-new installment in the series together with you, Bikers and Players.

We hope you are ready to hop on your bike and ride with us!

THE SBK OFFICIAL MOBILE GAME LEVELS UP TO FUEL YOUR PASSION FOR SPEED

SBK Official Mobile Game will be the new officially licensed racing game of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship: starting from 2021, there won’t be any more year indication preceding the title, nor any yearly releases, but just one SBK Official Mobile Game app, which will be regularly updated with new seasonal content and gameplay features, mirroring the real-life championship much more closely.

We recreated the game from scratch, migrating from our own development framework to a third-party engine called Unity, in order to offer more realistic physics and graphics, plus all the improvements requested by players over the years: you will not only be riding at full speed through the most challenging race tracks in the world, while competing against the fastest Superbike riders ever, but you will also be able to grow your experience as a player by gradually unlocking new content and game modes, and to repair or upgrade your bike with replacement parts and gear improvements.

The initial release—slated for launch in spring 2021—will include a limited set of features, which we are going to share on this blog soon, but will subsequently be expanded with much sought-after additions such as Career mode, changing weather conditions and online multiplayer.

Stay tuned to know more about what will be coming next!
